Become an Outcoder as a QA Software Engineer

Join our Engineering Department as a QA Software Engineer and immerse yourself in challenging projects within our Digital Home Experience and IoT product team. As part of this dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing new processes and enhancing existing test methodologies. Your responsibilities will include creating both manual and automated tests, as well as refining testing workflows to optimize efficiency. Collaboration with Senior QA Engineers will be key as you contribute to continuous testing initiatives and execute testing strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's products and services.

What you’ll need to be successful:

- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Science
- Knowledge of Networking (asset)
- Familiarity with Hyperscalers like GCP, Azure, AWS (asset)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently
- Experience with Selenium Automation

This will be considered a plus:

- Previous experience in IoT testing
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
