Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior QC – Site QA/QC Support (MEP – Construction) to join our team! The Senior QC – Site QA/QC Support (MEP – Construction) represents PIF-backed national master developer in providing senior-level, site-based MEP quality control oversight across assigned construction zones or packages.
The role is responsible for verifying that all MEP installations are executed in full compliance with:
IFC drawings and approved shop drawings
Project technical specifications
Contractual requirements
Saudi Building Code and authority standards
The position provides hands-on MEP inspection leadership, supports package-level QA/QC governance, and ensures contractor compliance through structured site surveillance, system verification, defect prevention, and documented inspection control.
This role is execution-focused and site-intensive, with strong emphasis on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety system quality.
What You'll Be Doing:
Site-Based Civil Quality Control - Conduct and lead inspection of:
Mechanical Systems
HVAC ductwork installation
Chilled water piping systems
VRF / DX systems
Pump rooms
Plant installations
Insulation and cladding works
Electrical Systems

Contractor Compliance Monitoring

Assess adequacy of contractor MEP QC personnel.
Enforce compliance with approved inspection sequences.
Escalate repeated non-compliance or testing failures to Project Quality Manager.
NCR & Defect Management (MEP)
Raise NCRs for MEP non-conformances.

Monitor recurring MEP defect trends (e.g., leakage, improper termination, insulation gaps, system imbalance).
Support MEP snagging and defect clearance prior to handover.
Pre-Commissioning & Handover Support

Verify system readiness prior to energization.
Review testing & commissioning documentation.
Participate in authority inspection preparation.
Validate MEP as-built documentation completeness.
Ensure proper EDMS uploading (e.g., Aconex) for traceability.
Risk Identification & Prevention
Identify high-risk MEP installation activities prior to execution.
Flag coordination issues between civil, architectural, and MEP trades.
Recommend preventive inspection strategies.
Support early warning reporting of quality risks.
Promote defect prevention mindset across contractor teams.
Training, Knowledge & Awareness
At Senior QC (MEP) level, training remains practical and system-focused:
Conduct toolbox talks on common MEP installation failures.
Share lessons learned related to testing and commissioning issues.
Mentor junior MEP inspectors.
Provide feedback to contractor MEP teams on recurring non-conformances.
Support awareness sessions on specification interpretation and testing standards.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
12–15 years of MEP construction QA/QC experience.
Strong site-based MEP inspection background.
Experience in large-scale residential or mixed-use master developments.
Developer-side or PMC experience preferred.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP construction methodologies.
Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Practical experience with MEP Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Strong shop drawing and specification interpretation capability.
Experience witnessing pressure testing, electrical testing, and commissioning processes.
