ResponsibilitiesAs a QA Manual Engineer, you will:
Own and strictly implement test plans for various features and systems.
Perform comprehensive manual testing to identify and resolve issues.
Successfully lead bug triage sessions and determine quality risks.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams.
Report on quality metrics and keep collaborators promptly informed.
Promote the use of standard processes for QA and offer support to junior team members to help them progress.
Maintain and apply QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail and Postman and Charles Proxy
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in manual testing across User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) layers
- A solid understanding of core QA methodologies and best practices, coupled with practical experience operating within an Agile SDLC.
- Proficiency in leveraging industry-standard bug tracking and test management tools to ensure efficient defect management and test case organization.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to diagnose complex software issues at both the UI and API levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear articulation of findings and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
Experience in the gaming industry or with social/mobile apps.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and performance testing.
Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
