Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual testing, including functional, regression, and API testing (e.g., Postman).
- Conduct database testing using SQL (MySQL, Redshift, or Snowflake).
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
- Contribute to test plans, test strategy, and QA documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum setups.
- Support and mentor junior QA team members.
- Continuously suggest improvements to QA processes and quality standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in QA, primarily in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and database validation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
Good to Have
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Playwright.
- Basic understanding of test automation frameworks.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Familiarity with AI-based testing tools or QA process improvements.
