About the Role

As a SQA Engineer at AdalFi, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially developers and product managers, to thoroughly test mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a passion for breaking software, and experience in writing test cases, reporting bugs, and working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Test mobile and web-based applications to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

• Identify and document bugs or inconsistencies, and collaborate with developers to resolve them efficiently.

• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.

• Perform various types of testing including UI, regression, cross browser, integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Develop and improve testing infrastructure and internal QA processes for efficient and consistent test execution.

• Write clear and structured test reports, summarizing test results, performance issues, and defect metrics.

• Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing input during design, development, and release.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams [Dev, BA and UX] to ensure the software aligns with user expectations and is delivered on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, preferably in agile development environments.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development processes.

• Having automation experience is a huge plus.

• Experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira or similar platforms.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.

• This is an 100% onsite role.
