About You
Carsome is looking for a highly motivated Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. You will contribute to ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of Carsome's digital products across web, mobile applications, and APIs. This role involves both manual and automation , contributing to our continuous delivery pipeline and playing a key role in maintaining high product standards.

Your-Day-To-Day
● Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for new features and existing systems
● Ensure quality standards are met across both functional and non-functional requirements
● Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression and smoke test using tools such as Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Appium or Other frameworks.
● Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and early defect detection.
● Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
● Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools like JIRA
● Conduct various types of testing including regression, exploratory, integration, and smoke testing
● Maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and execution reports
● Coordinate and manage test environment setup prior to test execution
● Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements
● Provide regular updates to stakeholders on test progress, risks, and issues
Your-Know-How
● Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
● Minimum three years of experience in software testing including manual and automation testing
● Proficient in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and clear bug reports
● Experience with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium, or Playwright
● Knowledge or experience in mobile app testing is an added advantage
● Experience with API testing tools like Postman and performance testing tools like JMeter is an advantage
● Good knowledge of programming language such as Java, Javascript or Python used in automation testing
● Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or similar is a plus
● Experience with version control tools like Git
● Basic knowledge of SQL, MongoDB and database testing
● Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a cross-functional team environment
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
● Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
