Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with product and engineering during project scoping and refinement to identify risk and establish test plans.
  • Validating in-app purchase flows, subscription lifecycles and integrations with third-party payment systems on Android + iOS devices.

  • In partnership with engineering, define, design, implement, and maintain automated tests across and between our tech stacks (mobile, hardware, and web).
  • Testing Android-based software running on custom hardware and firmware.
  • Collaborating with QA team members across domains to improve testing efficiency and foster a sustainable workload amongst the team.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in independently assessing quality risks, making informed testing decisions, and influencing product outcomes
  • Experience testing in-app purchases, subscription lifecycle management, and third-party payment integrations on Android + iOS devices

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to apply systems-level thinking to business requirements through the lens of the customer experience
  • History of contributing to automated tests on Android + iOS platforms
