The Role:
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest quality and reliability standards. You'll work within cross-functional delivery teams alongside other engineers, product managers, designers, and customer support in testing and assuring product quality. Your responsibilities will include estimation, planning, investigation, coordination, and test execution to ensure that issues are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect-tracking system. Above all, you're responsible for finding bugs before users do and upholding the highest quality standards in everything you do.
What You'll Do:
Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated tests
Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities
Follow up on issues reported by users
Prepare test result analysis and reporting
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Communicate efficiently and professionally with the development team
Take full ownership of your work and responsibility for every detail, every step of the way
Execute features/projects from start to end
Use all available resources to assess the problem and to identify the best solution.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Solid knowledge of the QA techniques, testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
Strong experience and understanding of testing methods of desktop apps on Windows and/or MacOS
Work experience on team-driven or task-oriented projects
Knowledge of industry trends and our infrastructure
Understanding the security, performance, availability, and scalability implications while implementing features
Engineering mindset
System administration skills are a big plus
Experience with test automation is a big plus
Experience with audio is a plus
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate and research multiple sources
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional and distributed teams.
