Senior QA Engineer – Mobile & Web

This is a remote position.

Take ownership of QA and release readiness across mobile and web products in a permanent work-from-home role supporting an established Australian business.

·       100% work from home

·       Monday to Friday, 11:30 PM to 7:30 PM PHT, with flexibility as needed

·       Full-time permanent Philippine employment with Offshore 24/7

You will own the QA and release-readiness process for a product spanning iOS, Android and web. You will test mobile and web builds, shape acceptance criteria before development starts, run regression testing ahead of releases, and provide clear QA sign-off and release-readiness recommendations.

This is for someone who already operates beyond basic test execution. You should be comfortable investigating what is happening beneath the interface by checking logs and API responses, recreating issues and clearly communicating your findings to developers.

You will work closely with product and development colleagues across Australia, India and Vietnam, communicate risk clearly and use AI-assisted tools or agentic workflows to automate repetitive manual testing tasks.

·       Own end-to-end QA and release readiness across mobile and web products.

·       Help define acceptance criteria with product and developers before development begins.

·       Plan and execute manual, exploratory and regression testing through to production release.

·       Investigate defects using logs and API responses, recreate issues and clearly communicate findings to developers.

·       Test APIs using tools such as Postman and validate system behaviour across integrations.

·       Provide QA sign-off and communicate release risks, blockers and recommendations clearly.

·       Coordinate or support user acceptance testing where required.

·       Use AI-assisted tools where useful to analyse logs, generate SQL queries and understand unfamiliar code.

·       Automate repetitive manual testing tasks using AI-assisted tools, agentic workflows or other appropriate automation methods.

At least 3 years of hands-on software QA experience.

·       Experience testing both mobile and web applications in an Agile environment while working with a team of at least four developers.

·       Experience owning QA for a product or feature area, including regression and release-readiness input.

·       Hands-on API testing and log-based technical investigation experience, including examining error logs and recreating issues.

·       Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and supporting evidence to developers.

·       Existing experience automating repetitive manual testing tasks using AI-assisted tools, agentic workflows or other automation methods.

·       Strong written and spoken English and the ability to work independently across time zones.

·       Availability to work Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM Philippine time, with flexibility as needed.

·       Direct experience testing React Native mobile applications.

·       Experience testing React web applications.

·       Basic SQL query experience or the ability to use AI-assisted tools to generate queries.

·       Ability to navigate and understand relevant application code.

·       Experience with Jira, Bitbucket and browser developer tools.

·       Experience working with Australian clients or employers.

·       PHP 90,000 to PHP 110,000 per month
