What you will be doing
Design, create, and maintain test cases, test plans, and release plans.
Execute manual and automated test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting.
Generate clear and detailed test reports to communicate test results and quality metrics.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Support test automation efforts, particularly for backend and API testing.
You Are a Good Match If You Have:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, QA Engineer, or similar role.
Strong background in test design, test case management, and release validation.
Proven experience in backend and API testing, both manual and automated.
Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting for API validation (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or similar).
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI, or similar API testing tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
