We're seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong coordination skills and a passion for building high-quality software. The ideal candidate is a curious, proactive problem-solver with deep experience in both manual and automated testing across diverse domains (transportation, fintech, healthcare, IoT, government, etc.). This is an exciting opportunity to lead QA initiatives, build automation frameworks from scratch, and work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What you will do
- Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test plans for web, mobile, API, and microservices environments.
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks and suites (UI, API, DB).
- Drive CI/CD test automation integration using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and Docker.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage QA backlogs, write user stories, and define test milestones.
- Provide mentorship and onboarding support to new QA and Dev team members.
- Execute manual test cases when necessary (regression, exploratory, smoke).
- Generate test reports, track bugs, and communicate risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Continuously explore and introduce new tools, frameworks, and practices to elevate product quality and team efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles (manual + automation).
- Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and optimize QA processes in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Experience in cross-industry projects (fintech, IoT, healthcare, e-commerce, government).
- English level B2 or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience mentoring QA or Dev teams.
- Familiarity with performance testing and metrics analysis.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tooling.
- Prior contributions to internal QA process improvement.
