We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Playwright with 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios, including cross-browser testing.
- Develop reusable automation components, Page Object Models, utilities, fixtures, test data, and reporting mechanisms.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and improve test stability and coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile environments while contributing to automation strategy and continuous improvement.
What We Seek In You
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch with strong knowledge of Playwright locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, browser contexts, POM, parallel execution, and cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
- Strong understanding of UI, Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End, API, and REST API testing, including HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, JSON, and request/response validation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/database validation, backend testing, Git, and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, test reporting, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with Docker, cloud-based test environments, Playwright HTML Report/Allure, and version control workflows including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior QA engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, performance/load testing, cloud testing platforms, and containerized test execution.
- Exposure to modern QA engineering and AI-assisted testing practices.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript
