The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst who will ensure that Hero Digital's products function as intended. You’ll assess the quality of the software we develop through manual & automated testing, finding and reporting on any defects with the software. Do you have a keen eye for details? Are you able to communicate complex or potentially contentious ideas clearly? Are you passionate about quality and disciplined about testing? If so, you might be the perfect person for this job! This is a contract job until July, 2025


What you’ll do

  • Establish test plans, use cases, and test scripts based on wireframes, requirements documents, and process models
  • Perform testing across multiple browsers and devices
  • Provide managers with ample feedback on test progress
  • Adapt test cases to changing requirements based on an iterative development lifecycle and client feedback
  • Work directly with our development team to perform regression testing, along with defect documentation, fixing, and tracking
  • Review & analyze designs / specifications
  • Build tickets to document defects
  • Evaluate results of tests according to designs and specifications
  • Work with the Design and Development teams to ensure quality throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Conduct pre & post-release / post-implementation testing (minimizing the risk of regression issues)
  • Execute test cases (manual and / or automated)
  • Assist in the guiding and mentoring of the less experienced members of the QA team to meet Hero Digital’s standards
  • Provide project leadership to more junior team members
  • Identify areas of coverage with potential risk
  • Recommend solutions or workarounds to defects when appropriate and make decisions within the project team

Who you are

  • At least 8 years of professional QA experience, with solid experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud(SFCC)
  • Experience working within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; should be able to handle multiple assignments at once
  • Experience in QA methodology
  • Ability to document and solve a variety of problems
  • Manual & Functional Testing: Strong understanding of test case design, execution, defect tracking, and exploratory testing for SFCC storefronts
  • API & Integration Testing : Testing SFCC OCAPI & SCAPI with Postman, REST Assured etc.
  • SFCC Business Manager & Commerce Features
  • Understanding order management workflows, checkout, payment, and fulfillment.
  • Data & Database Testing : Querying Salesforce objects using SOQL & SQL for data integrity validation
  • Ensuring accurate data migration  
  • SFCC Debugging
  • Mobile & Cross-Browser Testing
  • Experience with Jenkins, capado etc for continuous testing
  • Understanding SFCC  structure and Git workflows
  • Multi-Site & Localization Testing
  • Bachelor's degree (A BS or BA in Computer Science or related field preferred, but nor required)
