We are looking for a Python/Docker Engineer to join our team, focused on developing machine learning services within containerized environments. You’ll be involved in building, deploying, and scaling cloud-based solutions, collaborating with a dedicated team on innovative AI-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and enhance machine learning services, particularly for image processing.
- Develop REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask frameworks.
- Containerize applications and services using Docker (Docker Compose experience required).
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development within Azure; occasional work with GitHub CI/CD.
Competency Profile:
- Python Expertise: Strong general Python knowledge, including experience with REST interfaces, testing, and package creation.
- Containerization: Proficient with Docker Builds and Compose, as well as WSL2 on Linux.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Experience working in Azure and managing virtual machines.
- Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Basic knowledge of computer vision for image processing tasks.
- Moderate familiarity with AI concepts and C#.
Typical Projects:
- Developing and integrating machine learning applications into containerized web services.
- Transitioning legacy Python services to modern containerized solutions, focusing on dependency management and code optimization.
Work Environment:
- Agile SCRUM team with a daily stand-up and occasional refinement, planning, review, and retrospectives.
- Primary focus on task completion with minimal meeting overhead.
Tools and Tech Stack:
- Web Development Frameworks: FastAPI, Flask (connexion).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Azure CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to GitHub workflows.
- Database Management: SQLite databases managed with SQLAlchemy.
