About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Integration team, which owns a broad set of critical integrations across the product. The team is responsible for integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, payment methods, and other external systems that are essential to product operation and user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems, including KYC, geolocation, and payment partners, and other third-party services
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations
- Implement observability across integration flows, including monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices
- Support production issues and participate in on-call rotations
What We're Looking For
- At least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language and strong experience in API and system integrations
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs, with deep understanding of webhooks, callbacks, idempotency, and failure handling. Payments and KYC integrations are strong plus
- Experience with observability tools to monitor and troubleshoot production integrations
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and concurrency
- Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production monitoring
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
Nice To Have
- Experience in early-stage startups and fast-paced engineering environments
- Experience in writing automated tests, measuring test coverage, and defining test automation strategies
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana
- Experience in sports/betting industries
