ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join a dynamic team focused on improving and maintaining pricing systems for financial applications, particularly in the Rates and Credit domains. In this role, you will work closely with business teams to deliver high-quality solutions for pricing and regulatory workflows while maintaining existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain new services and systems.
• Create and modify responsive back-end solutions based on business requirements.
• Take full-stack ownership, consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Provide support for production deployments and troubleshoot production issues.
• Migrate and evolve systems according to company guidelines.
• Address network issues such as firewalls and latency during system migrations.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and communicate blockers or delays before escalation.
• Collaborate with partner technology teams to ensure smooth and effective solutions.
  

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Advanced experience with Python, including libraries such as Pyro and Regular Expressions.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB.
• Expertise in Windows/Linux scripting.
• Experience with Control-M (Jobs as Code).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and UrbanCode.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with C++ or Java.
• Knowledge of Tibco BusinessWorks 5.
• Familiarity with Rates derivatives products.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Recent experience in banking or financial services (2+ years).
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in advanced applications support.
