Join the Global Public Affairs Team as our new Senior Public Affairs Manager
Public Affairs is the team responsible for preparing and leading the dialogue with policymakers and policy influencers to ensure that Novonesis has the right insights and the ideal policies in place, to protect our license to operate, and to support the future growth of the company.
The Global Public Affairs team is a young team that sits within the Global Communication and External Affairs Department. Our team is headquartered in Lyngby (greater Copenhagen) with a link to the regional Public Affairs teams (APAC, LatAm, MEIA, North America). Our mandate is to:
Enhance our unique distinctiveness: by uniting the public affairs community within Novonesis across borders in terms of direction and key messages and PA tools.
Accelerate the biosolution market: by raising awareness of biosolutions amongst policymakers and in global policy podiums.
Grow the core of our business: by removíng barriers to market access and securing market pull initiatives that cater to the distinctiveness of biosolutions.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Leading and delivering public affairs advocacy campaigns that accelerate the biosolutions market (e.g. launch reports and roll out advocacy campaigns, partnerships with global advocacy partners).
Positioning Novonesis’ leadership in relevant global platforms (e.g. UNGA, COP, WEF, OECD) and rolling-out outreach programs to global advocacy partners within the biosolutions space.
Providing Public Affairs strategic counsel and develop ready-to-use materials to our Public Affairs colleagues working in-market.
Relevant experience and skills:
10-15 years experience working within public affairs and advocacy fields.
Proven track-record in developing and launching global advocacy campaigns in collaboration with third party-organizations, across different media and channels, and with an impact at local level.
Excellent project management and soft leadership skills to be able to drive projects cross-functionally (regulatory, communications, brand) and in a matrix organization.
Global mindset and experience to advocate in international platforms and collaborate with global advocacy partners.
M.Sc. in Politics, Communications. Marketing, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional 1-2 languages welcome.
