A bit about this role
The Provider Network Senior Manager will drive financial and quality outcomes across an assigned geographic territory (Central and Northern Indiana) by developing strategic relationships with health systems and provider groups, leveraging data analytics, and executing initiatives that improve member health outcomes. This role requires a seasoned healthcare professional who can influence provider behavior, communicate complex initiatives, and serve as a trusted strategic partner to both internal teams and external providers.
Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Develop, implement, and maintain an adequate, competitive provider network across the assigned geographic area
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key hospital systems, integrated delivery systems (IDS), and physician groups
Analyze provider-level data across quality, cost, and utilization metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Present complex healthcare data and recommendations to diverse internal and external audiences
Support the broader Network Team on company-wide initiatives and goals
Collaborate with Clinical, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams to align network strategy with organizational objectives
Required skills and experience:
8+ years of healthcare provider network management experience
Demonstrated expertise across multiple provider types (physicians, physician groups, integrated delivery systems, health systems, and ancillary providers)
Strong proficiency with healthcare data analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills—capable of presenting complex information to C-suite, providers, and operational teams
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand payer economics, provider incentives, and market dynamics
Self-directed with ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
Desired skills and experience:
Experience in Medicare Advantage or government programs
Knowledge of STAR measures and quality improvement methodologies
Travel:
Frequent travel within assigned territory (approximately 30-40%) required for on-site provider meetings, relationship building, and market presence.
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 / year
The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
