About the role

We are seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer specializing in Solana and Rust to lead Socket and Bungee's expansion into the Solana ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in Rust and Solana's programming model, along with Solidity knowledge to help port and adapt the Bungee Protocol and Socket Chain Abstraction to the Solana environment. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing core protocol components and maintaining the highest standards of security and efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development of Solana programs and infrastructure for Socket's Chain Abstraction and Bungee Protocol, including porting existing Solidity-based protocols to the Solana ecosystem
• Architect and implement solutions for seamless integration between EVM and Solana ecosystems, optimizing for security, efficiency, and reliability
• Drive technical discussions and protocol upgrades while collaborating with the core team on protocol implementations
• Provide technical leadership through documentation and best practices for Solana-specific development

Who you are

• Expert in Rust and Solana's programming model (SPL tokens, PDAs, CPIs), with production-grade Solana program experience
• Basic knowledge of Solidity and EVM-based protocols for effective protocol adaptation
• Strong background in contract architecture and secure system design across multiple blockchain environments
• Passionate about DeFi with hands-on experience in Solana's ecosystem
• You're located within GMT +0 to GMT +7 time zones to sync effectively with the team
