​Your new role 

​As our new project director in our energy unit, you will be part of a growing team with highly experienced members in Norway. We conduct studies, FEEDs and detail engineering for major energy companies in Norway. Our services include offshore, electrification, waste-to-energy, biofuel, carbon capture, hydrogen and e-fuels. As a senior project manager your most important role is to lead the technical and commercial team to reach the project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints, and through this become a trusted advisor to our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • ​​Portfolio manager for multidisciplinary projects within Transmission, Distribution and Renewable energy in Energy Norway and globally and responsible for the portfolio meeting the planned expectations. 

  • ​Project Owner and Project Manager for studies, FEEDs and detail engineering, this includes but is not limited to being an active project owner, mentor for project managers and actively participates in project meetings with clients and prospective customers.

  • ​Team leader of project managers, project support personnel, including competence development, PDP-processes, resource allocation and Health and Safety.

  • ​Support the strategy and business development of Energy in Norway, including client meetings and tender preparation.

  • ​Project management office supporting the larger project-portfolios, assuring that all projects in this portfolio mobilizes according to the agreed project execution plan and frame agreement manual.

  • ​Define lessons learned, and continuously improving portfolio execution models including the tools and systems that supports the model, in order to ensure continuous improvement. This also includes maintaining and updating the resource base.

​Your new team 

​Ramboll is the 4th largest engineering, design and consultancy company in Norway. You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team of power system engineers delivering solutions for DSOs, TSOs and developers of renewable energy. We are growing significantly at the moment, and you will therefore be able to have direct influence on defining our strategy. We aim to be the preferred supplier of power system engineering consultancy services for TSOs, DSOs and renewable energy developers within a timeframe of just 2 years.

​About you

​These include:

  • ​M.Sc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 
  • ​Min. 10+ years of experience managing and leading Transmission & Distribution grids, substations etc. projects 
  • ​Experience with early phase development and project implementation 
  • You have experience with electrical infrastructure
  • You have significant project management experience – preferably within a similar role
  • You enjoy building strong relations to clients and convey your technical knowledge in a convincing way
  • You have excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English (verbal and written)
