The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects while also supporting Account Directors with project management for full-service initiatives. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget by coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. While the primary focus remains on digital projects, the Senior Project Manager will also contribute to broader agency initiatives, ensuring seamless project execution across all disciplines.

Reports to: VP, Director of Client Services
Objectives of this role:
- Oversee all aspects of digital project management, ensuring clear communication between strategy, creative, development, and account teams.
- Expand project management responsibilities beyond digital to support Account Directors in full-service agency projects.
- Manage timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Ensure clear documentation and understanding of digital project requirements through detailed Statements of Work (SOW) and Digital Briefs.
- Foster strong collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and clients to deliver effective solutions.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
- Uphold best practices in project management processes, including QA, documentation, and post-mortem evaluations.
Summary of responsibilities:
Digital project management responsibilities
- Prepare and manage digital briefs, ensuring technical and strategic requirements are clearly documented.
- Lead the scoping, budgeting, and scheduling of digital projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between creative, strategy, development, and client services teams to align project goals.
- Oversee digital development workflows, ensuring best practices in UX, content, accessibility, and functionality.
- Critically assess and approve wireframes, architectures, and prototypes before client submission.
- Manage external digital contractors and partners, ensuring quality and alignment with project needs.
- Implement and maintain a quality control process for digital deliverables.
Full-service project management responsibilities
- Support Account Directors with project coordination, ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns and creative deliverables.
- Coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources for full-service projects.
- Facilitate collaboration between creative, strategy, and production teams.
- Assist in the development of client-facing reports, updates, and presentations.
- Ensure all team members understand project goals, scope, and expectations.
- Monitor budgets and track expenses across projects, identifying potential overruns early.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, scopes, and pricing estimates.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or advertising with a focus on digital projects
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field
- Client management experience and superior communication skills (written & verbal)
- Enthusiasm and curiosity for learning about agency workflows and client industries
- Experience with Figma and WordPress considered a strong asset
- Fluency in both English and French is an asset
