Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in the UK. This role involves leading the development and delivery of customer-facing applications for key financial partners. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative and secure solutions. Your expertise in financial solutions within SaaS platforms will be critical to your success.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end management of large-scale, complex projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Strategic Planning: Develop project strategies that align with regulatory requirements and business goals while driving operational efficiency.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Team Coordination: Oversee cross-functional teams (development, design, operations) to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets to ensure financial constraints are met while delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide detailed project updates to senior management and clients through reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects in financial services or investment banking.
- Proven expertise in SaaS platform development and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of investment products (e.g., derivatives) and regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills for resource planning and deadline management.
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills for managing expectations across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in risk management practices and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with security standards in application development.
- Fluency in English is required; German or French or Spanish would be an add on.
