About the Role:
- As a Project Manager within the CERT region, you will deliver value to Centric and our customers in one or more PLM implementation projects.
- The responsibility of both the PM and the PD on a Centric project is to ensure the project is delivered with all three of these metrics met:
- On time delivery
- On budget delivery (client budget and Centric margin)
- High customer satisfaction
- A Centric Project Manager will typically have responsibility for more than one implementation project at a time
- As a general expectation, most of your working hours are expected to be billable to the customer.
- The role is primarily working from home, but some travel is expected - either to customers or to team events..
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of a C8 PLM implementation project.
- Apply Centric Agile Project Methodology tools and practices for consistent and accurate project delivery and governance.
- Working closely with Client Project Managers, ensure project plan, budget, resource plan and total ownership of project progress is maintained.
- Manage the Centric project team and potential partners in the execution of their task.
- Plan Centric and potential partner resources accordingly and closely track planned time vs project resource demands
- Oversee the collection of client requirements and create a plan for delivery, using Centric business and technical consultant resources allocated to the project.
- Monitor the progress of the project and its indicators to ensure that it is shared internally as well as with our customers..
- Develop detailed implementation- and communication plans to effectively drive the project decision making process
- Prepare, organize, and present the project Steering Committee in alignment and in agreement with the Client Project Manager.
- At all times, ensure the Centric Project Director is aware of the high-level status of the project. Communicate any concerns or issues in a timely manner to them, with relevant details, to ensure opportunity for mitigation if necessary.
- Review and own the content of the project’s Statement of Work (SOW) from the start of the project and throughout, ensuring the solution configuration and project phase scope over time stays within the boundaries set out in the SOW.
- Manage client expectations based on Centric' s obligations.
Skills Required:
- Experience as a Project Manager in the IT industry, with Experience in IT within retail, fashion, luxury, outdoor, FMCG or other industries targeted by Centric Software a plus.
- Familiarization with agile and waterfall project methodologies and practices.
- Ability to learn new industries, practices and methodologies quickly.
- Organized, self-motivated, proactive and structured personality. High level of detail and accuracy.
- Commercial mindset, appreciating the motivation and priorities of both Centric Software and our customers.
- High level of ability to work with team colleagues in a collaborative, respectful, professional environment - remotely with the use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
- High level of German and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with a publisher or solution integrator, even if not in the PLM industry, is a plus.
