Job Purpose
We're hiring a Senior Project Manager who will play a critical role in orchestrating complex, cross-functional product initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration across Samsung Food teams and collaborators in other Samsung divisions.
Reporting to the Head of Product, Marketing, and Analytics, you will drive structured planning, manage stakeholder collaborations and contributions, and coordinate dependencies between
engineering teams to optimize execution efficiency.
This is a first-time role in our team and is ideal for someone who thrives in distributed environments and enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity. We especially welcome candidates with experience managing large-scale projects across global teams with diverse ways of working and business cultures.
What you'll do
- Facilitate cross-division collaboration and contributions – Drive alignment between product, engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations
- Manage dependencies across engineering teams – Proactively identify and coordinate cross-team dependencies, ensuring smooth execution and risk mitigation
- Enhance visibility and communication – Maintain up-to-date documentation on project timelines, deliverables, and key decisions, ensuring teams have the information they need to stay aligned
- Optimize release and iteration processes – Work closely with the Release Manager to refine launch workflows, improve execution velocity, and ensure smooth handoffs between teams
- Identify and remove blockers – Proactively surface risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, working cross-functionally to resolve bottlenecks and maintain project momentum
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in project management or program management for software teams
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders of all levels
- Professional working proficiency in Korean and English
- Strong dependency management skills, particularly across multiple engineering teams and products
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to drive alignment in complex, fast-paced environments
- Process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Ability to work autonomously, identifying challenges and driving solutions proactively
Desired Skills
- Experience driving product development across multi-platform apps and API ecosystems, facilitating integrations while aligning teams with differing working styles
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and iterative development practices
- Familiarity with B2C food or health tech industries
- Experience with modern project management and collaboration tools (e.g., ClickUp, Notion)
Terms of Engagement
- On-site at Samsung Digital City in Suwon, South Korea, with limited remote work flexibility when collaborating heavily with team members in Europe and/or the US
- 40 hours per week, contract-based (long-term)
