Job Title: Sr. Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects/programs within our organization. They will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to Project Managers and Scrum masters, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, Scope, and meet quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment, mitigate risks, and optimize project outcomes with remarkable quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Agile expertise: Expertise in Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability. Able to set the processes, and adeptly coordinate cross-functional teams, prioritizes tasks based on business value, and fosters a collaborative, transparent environment to drive successful project outcomes.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive professional growth and development.
Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project performance and track progress against objectives. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to define the business strategies, project objectives, scope, and requirements. Communicate project status, risks, and challenges/issues effectively to ensure alignment and manage expectations. Should be able to manage projects parallelly.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively identifying, communicating and managing expectations of all Stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for program objectives; Addressing concerns promptly and facilitating collaboration across diverse groups.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively across projects, balancing workload and priorities to optimize resource utilization and maximize project efficiency.
Project Oversight: Oversee the entire project progress, from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, defined scope, and meet quality standards.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical issues to senior leadership as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the business-unit, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize project delivery.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects adhere to organizational standards, policies, and procedures. Conduct quality reviews and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) / Prince2 certification is highly desirable; and exposure to the gaming industry is advisable.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management; at least 3 years working with senior leadership team.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs from initiation to closure.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder/vendor management skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Strong analytical, Innovative Thinking, and Problem-Solving abilities.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Card games expertise is an added advantage.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based at Hyderabad office.
Travel may be required occasionally.
