Position Summary

As a member of TBWA/Chiat project management team, you are viewed as a team leader and synchronous Juggler responsible to expertly manage projects with several parallel tracks of work from end-to-end. You should be seen as a positive force, always problem solving and offering solutions. As the glue holding the creative development process together, you maintain a good attitude in the face of the many challenges your team members will encounter. You know how to manage stress, conflict, and adversity in a positive, productive manner. You demonstrate the ability to manage risks and issue proactively. Embody strong people skills, enabling the ability to motivate the team and support re-negotiation on any barriers or missed expectations. As a PM you may also support new business pursuits (if needed) and onboard new team members on material relative to the PM domain.

Overall Responsibilities

This role is expected to manage the communications of the project process, drive timelines for optimum output, and manage the workflow throughout the lifecycle of the project through deployment. They are also responsible for managing overarching schedules across disciplines within the brand agency team from strategy to creative and design. The project manager must have experience with 360 campaign launches, the creative development and design workflow and how work should be completed through production handoff. Creative problem-solving ability and attention to detail is a must.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Manages internal meetings, tracking feedback, requested revisions, leading and reporting next steps and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Primary point of contact between business leads, creative and design team ensuring there is a clear direction on each internal and client ask.
  • Partners with business, strategy and production leads to develop and/or revise project resources and timelines 
  • Sets and distributes timelines to the team members 
  • Manages internal feedback, solicits and acts on and establishes clear expectations for ambitions and delivery of assets
  • Partners with brand Business Leads:
    • managing client feedback, solicits and acts on and establishes clear expectations for delivery and ambitions
    • manages the project scope and budgets
  • Partners with production talent when creating or revising project work plans to ensure deadlines are met
  • Adjusts/refines and shifts priorities across the projects and leads internal reviews to ensure that we are on-time and delivering the best work possible
  • Manages schedules, assets, capacity planning, change management and overall project organization 
  • Ensures requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
  • Collaborative working with the business leads to escalate or mitigate any issues that may arise, and adapting responses to changing conditions to ensure best possible project outcomes between project dependencies
  • Manages deadlines and communication to key partners on expectations and key milestones or changes to schedule.
  • Coordinates and runs stand up and status meeting as it relates to the project and provides day-to-day project status/hot sheets to the team
  • Contributes to project management by creating processes for efficiency, recommending tools and templates


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years project management or production experience
  • Experience working in a creative environment; from strategy development through to production delivery.
  • Team player, able to multi-task and problem solve under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and colleagues of all levels.
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively for solutions-oriented results.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal presentation skills and style; proficient in presentation (Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint) and workflow software (Smartsheet).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


+Qualifications:

  • Experience related to design projects (brand guidelines, brand IDs and/or design asset management)

  

Location: 

Given the nature of our Project Management team and the client assigned to this role, we are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to New York City, in the near future (first 60 days of employment).

The annual salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable.
