STV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Development Manager to lead complex education construction project. This role oversees planning, development, procurement, and delivery from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring safe, compliant execution with minimal disruption to academic operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project development, pre‑construction planning, and budgeting
- Manage procurement, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- Oversee schedule, cost control, and risk management
- Direct construction execution, QA/QC, and safety compliance
- Coordinate stakeholders across facilities, academics, and operations
- Ensure timely closeout, turnover, and warranty tracking
- Education Project Development: Define scope and phasing strategies for classrooms, labs, libraries, residence halls, and athletic facilities.
- Pre‑Construction & Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and campus planners to align design with academic needs and regulatory requirements (ADA, fire safety, SCA standards for K‑12).
- Procurement & Delivery: Execute RFPs and negotiate contracts for CM‑at‑Risk or Design‑Build delivery methods commonly used in education projects.
- Schedule & Budget Management: Maintain integrated schedules and budgets for multi‑phase campus programs; manage change orders and funding approvals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with school boards, university leadership, faculty, and community groups; lead public meetings for K‑12 projects when required.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and campus safety protocols during construction on active sites.
- Closeout & Commissioning: Ensure timely turnover of classrooms and facilities before academic terms; manage punch lists and warranty periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in education/institutional construction leadership
- Proficiency with Primavera P6/MS Project, Procore, and BIM workflows
- Experience with CM‑at‑Risk and Design‑Build delivery methods
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred: PMP or CCM certification, LEED accreditation, OSHA‑30
Compensation Range:
