We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - R&D Product Development

Your responsibilities

  • With your experience you will manage the delivery of complex medical product development from concept to launch.

  • Drive end-to-end delivery across the entire product lifecycle, ensuring high quality and timely outcomes.

  • Define, manage, and continuously optimize scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

  • Proactively identify and resolve gaps, risks, and misalignments while unblocking teams.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and external partners.

  • Align stakeholders and foster shared accountability for results incl digitalization (app, connected devices, digital ecosystem). Facilitate effective decision-making and escalate strategically with clear recommendations.

  • Ensure transparency on progress, risks, and trade-offs through structured governance and reporting.
     

Location

  • This is a Baar-based hybrid role, with several in-office days each week to enable rapid collaboration. 

What you bring along

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading product development initiatives for Medical Devices. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Natural Science. Further education in project management or business administration desirable. 

  • Deep understanding of the Medical Device industry and its cross-functional disciplinary landscape.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams. 

  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and self-motivation, with the ability to perform under pressure.

  • Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Understanding of digital health technologies in regulated environments. Experience with modern delivery approaches (Agile, SAFe, product-led development) is a plus.

  • Ability to influence, motivate, and lead within matrix organizations while constructively challenging assumptions
