Senior Project Manager – PMO

Flyte Solutions Ltd. is looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and lead the delivery of complex, business-critical technology initiatives.

This is a senior, client-facing role for an experienced project leader with a strong track record of delivering enterprise technology programs in demanding environments. The successful candidate will take end-to-end accountability for project delivery, working across clients, business stakeholders, engineering teams, technology partners, and senior management to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing delivery structure, maintaining governance, managing execution, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will lead initiatives spanning enterprise software implementation, digital transformation, system integration, application modernization, migration, and other technology-enabled programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the complete lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, transition, and closure.
• Define and manage scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Establish robust project governance, including project plans, RAID logs, decision registers, change controls, action trackers, steering committee materials, and executive dashboards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Database, Business, Operations, and external partners.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery challenges, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation.
• Manage client and senior stakeholder expectations through structured communication, executive reporting, governance meetings, and transparent decision-making.
• Lead complex implementation, integration, migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives, ensuring effective transition and business readiness.
• Manage project budgets, resource utilization, vendor dependencies, and delivery performance against agreed KPIs.
• Ensure effective change management, including impact assessment and formal control of changes to scope, schedule, cost, and resources.
• Maintain compliance with applicable client governance, security, quality, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across Flyte's PMO methodologies, delivery frameworks, tools, templates, reporting standards, and project management practices.
• Mentor project and delivery team members and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, ownership, and execution excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience leading software, IT, or technology projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Project & Programme Management, PMO Governance, Budget Management, Resource Planning, Risk Management, and Change Management.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise technology delivery.
• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior clients, executives, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders in complex delivery environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain delivery discipline in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or an equivalent internationally recognized project management certification.
• Experience delivering projects within Banking & Financial Services, FinTech, Telecommunications, or other large enterprise environments.
• Experience with enterprise application implementation, digital transformation, system/API integration, application modernization, cloud migration, or data migration.
• Previous experience managing client-facing, multi-team, or multi-vendor technology engagements.
