Great Life Sciences projects require more than managing a schedule. They require someone who can bring clients, engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders together around a common goal—and keep complex projects moving from concept through completion.
GBA is looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience leading multidisciplinary facility and manufacturing design projects to join our growing Life Sciences practice. Our team specializes in the design of processes, utilities, and facilities that support the manufacture of cGMP drug products using biotechnology and pharmaceutical methods.
You’ll work alongside an integrated team of architects, engineers, and project professionals on technically complex projects for leading companies in the industry. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful work from start to finish, build trusted client relationships, develop project teams, and help shape how we deliver Life Sciences projects as our practice continues to grow.

You’ll lead complex facility and manufacturing design projects, strengthen client relationships, mentor and develop project teams, and contribute to the continued growth of GBA’s Life Sciences practice.
Success in this role goes beyond delivering a project on time and on budget. It means becoming a trusted partner to our clients, creating clarity for the project team, anticipating challenges before they become problems, and helping everyone involved deliver their best work.
What You’ll Do- Lead multidisciplinary facility and manufacturing design projects and project teams, ensuring commitments to clients are understood and delivered.
- Provide leadership and direct project controls for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and overall project performance.
- Serve as a key client contact, building and maintaining long-term relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and successful project delivery.
- Support business development and marketing efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying opportunities to continue serving our clients.
- Develop short- and long-term project plans, establish milestones, and keep teams aligned with critical deadlines and client expectations.
- Lead project meetings involving multiple disciplines, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

- PMP certification is preferred but not required.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
You’ll likely enjoy this role if you like being the person who brings all the pieces together. You can move comfortably between a client conversation, a multidisciplinary design meeting, a budget or schedule discussion, and an executive-level project update.
You build relationships naturally, communicate clearly, and aren’t afraid to make decisions when a project needs direction. You take pride in delivering great work, but you also care about developing the people around you and creating an environment where the entire team can succeed.
Most importantly, you understand that great project management is about more than managing tasks, it’s about earning trust, creating alignment, and leading people toward a successful outcome.
