About the Role

Coleman Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager to join our team in Savannah, Georgia, managing a large-scale K12 Capital Construction Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven construction professional who thrives at keeping teams aligned, solving complex challenges, and delivering impactful projects that will educate the next generation of students.

As the onsite Owner's Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of project success; from conception through completion, working alongside top Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, and Architects to deliver boldly and deliver right.


What we are looking for:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong construction background and a passion for large-scale program delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring staff and contributing to long-term program strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the onsite Owner's Representative, overseeing all aspects of project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Manage project development from conception through successful client turnover in accordance with program objectives
  • Oversee contract management, change management, and project governance processes
  • Manage and coordinate project team members across multiple disciplines
  • Provide construction oversight and resolve complex, project-related issues in a timely manner
  • Play an integral role in mentoring and developing project staff
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to program strategy development and support program leadership
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, documentation, and presentations to clients and public entities
  • Ensure technical performance and successful turnover to the client upon project completion
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building and/or rehabilitation projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining leadership and resolving critical issues
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems/components

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with K–12 building construction and/or other public projects and large programs
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE), or Architect license/certification

Skills Required
