We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure & Power to join our team

Compensation

Expected Salary (NYC): $150,000 - $200,000 USD

What  you can expect in this role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects focusing on power generation, electric utility interconnection, gas utility systems, and HPC data center development. This role requires proven expertise in utility coordination, PJM market operations, and infrastructure delivery and construction.


More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

Project Leadership 

  • Lead electric utility load studies, interconnection analysis, and substation design/build projects. 
  • Manage gas utility interconnection and power generation infrastructure development. 
  • Oversee HPC data center infrastructure projects supporting hyperscale requirements. 

Project Execution 

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for utility-scale projects. 
  • Maintain project budgets and timelines while ensuring regulatory compliance. 
  • Facilitate communication between utilities, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Create detailed project documentation and progress reports for senior leadership. 
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly utility interconnection challenges. 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Build and maintain relationships with Pennsylvania electric and gas utilities. 
  • Navigate PJM interconnection processes and capacity market requirements. 
  • Coordinate with hyperscale clients on data center infrastructure needs. 
  • Manage contractor relationships and construction oversight. 


Here's the profile we're looking for:

  • Education: Preferred Engineering degree (electrical/gas preferred) or Construction/Project Management. 
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years each in utility power systems, project management, and construction. 
  • Pennsylvania Expertise: Proven history with Pennsylvania electric and gas utilities.  
  • PJM Knowledge: Experience with PJM market operations and interconnection processes.  
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks for infrastructure design review. 
  • Financial Management: Demonstrated budgeting and financial oversight capabilities 

Desirable Skills 

  • Mechanical and/or Civil PE 
  • HPC data center infrastructure experience. 
  • Project management software proficiency (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira). 
  • Pennsylvania interconnection standards and PUC regulations knowledge. 
  • Behind-the-meter power generation project experience. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Pennsylvania project sites. 

  

Working Conditions  

  • New York City-based role (4 days per week in office)  
  • Regular travel required to Pennsylvanian project sites
