Job Description:

Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure Design)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Project Manager to join out team. In this role, you will lead the design delivery of complex infrastructure projects, driving construction execution, client and stakeholder engagement, commercial performance, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes safely, on time, and within budget.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Plan, direct, and control all business, technical, commercial, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned infrastructure project.

  • Lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure construction works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

  • Establish and oversee implementation of project execution, health and safety, quality, environmental, and risk management plans.

  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, allocating responsibilities and mobilizing resources to achieve project objectives.

  •  Act as the primary client interface, managing stakeholder relationships, negotiating scope changes, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead project planning and controls, including budgets, schedules, risk management, change management, and recovery strategies to address project challenges.

  • Oversee contractor performance, construction supervision, contract administration, and coordination with consultants, utility authorities, and government stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and company quality management systems while promoting technical and commercial excellence.

  •  Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for project personnel to develop high-performing teams.

  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional services and maintaining strong client relationships.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical/business field.

  • Minimum of 18 years experience in design and construction of infrastructure project delivery with some experience within the UAE/GCC.

  • Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from construction through handover.

  • Strong understanding of design delivery of infrastructure delivery, including roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, public realm, and associated civil works.

  • Thorough knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, and project controls.

  • Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams in a project management capacity.

  • Strong understanding of current digital construction technologies and their effective application on infrastructure projects.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, project controls, construction management systems, and infrastructure delivery best practices.
