Who are you?

You are an experienced client-side Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. 

Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and construction contracts, including tendering and progress tracking.
  • Oversee Site Plan Approval and Building Permit processes, ensuring alignment with owner objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings, document minutes, drive action items, and ensure compliance with client document control standards.
  • Provide clear, timely reporting on project status, risks, and issues to support informed client decision-making.
  • Administer contracts and service agreements across the project lifecycle, including closeout documentation and warranty handover.
  • Conduct site visits across Ontario and other provinces, ensuring Health & Safety compliance and supporting operational transition.

Qualifications

  • Experience in highly serviced sectors such as industrial warehouses, data centres, life sciences, and high-tech manufacturing.
  • Strong contract management skills and familiarity with various procurement routes.
  • Proficient in scheduling tools like MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Collaborative mindset with a best-for-project attitude and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of construction technical matters, including value engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentation development.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; professional membership preferred.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time role is $95,000 - $145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.  Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
