STV’s Transportation Group in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Highway, CM/PM Services to lead high-impact infrastructure projects and shape the future of transportation in Illinois. This on-site position will be based in Mt Prospect, Illinois.

As a Project Manager, you will:
- Advance your career from Resident Engineer towards a more focused group leadership capacity with broader responsibilities and visibility.
- Lead major transportation projects for clients like IDOT, the Illinois Tollway, and CDOT.
- Influence project outcomes through strategic planning
- Fine tune your skills in managing large-scale project budgets & performance, team leadership, and client engagement.
- Be a key player in business development, helping shape proposals and win new work.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead and manage construction management teams on large-scale transportation projects.
- Oversee project execution, budgets, schedules, and contract compliance.
- Serve as the Owner’s on-site representative, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule control.
- Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior staff while managing subconsultants and internal resources.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role:
- 10+ years of experience in construction/project management for transportation infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PE license required.
- Proven experience with Illinois agencies (IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, counties).
- Strong technical knowledge of roadway, bridge, and interchange construction.
- Expertise in construction phasing, traffic operations, and documentation.
- CCM certification is a plus.

Compensation Range:
