We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of experience managing complex software delivery projects, including AI/ML/LLM initiatives. This role will oversee multiple simultaneous GenAI projects, ensuring successful execution, effective stakeholder collaboration, and alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid technical understanding of AI technologies and Agile delivery practices, enabling them to effectively lead cross-functional engineering teams delivering cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent GenAI software projects, ensuring successful execution within scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations from initiation through closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, AI use cases, project priorities, and delivery expectations.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including AI Engineers, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, MLOps Engineers, and Business Analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps and status reports to track progress, dependencies, and risks.
• Manage project scope, change requests, and priorities while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to AI development, data dependencies, and evolving technical requirements.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and Agile ceremonies, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and accountability across all stakeholders.
• Drive Agile delivery methodologies to improve team efficiency and project outcomes.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Continuously improve project management best practices, delivery processes, and Agile ways of working.

Skills and Competencies:

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Proven experience managing AI/GenAIML/LLM software projects is required.
• Strong technical background with the ability to effectively communicate with engineering teams.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously.
• Experience handling project support requests and managing client expectations.
• Experience serving as a Scrum Master or facilitating Agile delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in stakeholde r management, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to risk and issue management.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is nice to have.
• Experience delivering AI solutions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
