This role is part of our Brand and Advertising team based in Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Brand Strategists, Creatives, and Influencer Marketers to Account managers, Producers, and Video editors. As a creative digital marketing agency, we mix old-fashioned creative storytelling with the best of what today’s technology has to offer to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Bol.com and Philips to name a few.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Project Manager, you work closely with our major accounts and teams on a daily basis, running diverse projects from start to finish. You’re able to combine the best way of work for our creative teams and the briefed timeline of the client into a feasible workflow. Because of your knowledge and interest in the creative industry and its processes, you have an opinion that is respected and appreciated by both the customer and the internal teams. Your assertiveness ensures that deviations in the planning and budget are not left behind, but are addressed, solved and communicated to the customer in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make a plan of approach & budget based on the brief of the client
  • Running projects from A-Z, including the day to day contact with client(s)
  • You’re able to manage stakeholders independently when discussing feedback or impediments in the process.
  • Setting up a schedule, monitoring the process and delivering it on time. With short deadlines apparent, you do not panic, but instead ensure that you go on, using a “can do” approach.
  • Tracking time and budgets. You’re able to forecast, flag and act when it comes to project and client financials.
  • Your team sees you as their “eye in the storm” in stressful times.
  • You get energy from working closely with your team on solutions for the customer and the right approach to their questions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Have a minimum of 4 years of work experience at an agency as a Project Manager;
  • Speak fluent Dutch and English;
  • Have at a minimum HBO working and thinking level;
  • Know how the different parts of an agency work (together);
  • Have the ability to guide more junior colleagues when needed;
  • Can adapt quickly and learn a new skill if needed for a project.
  • Have the natural ability to keep an overview and you know exactly how to prioritize the work to be done.

WE OFFER

  • The choice to work where you are most productive: whether that is in one of our offices, or abroad for 13 weeks a year. Rather work from home? No problem! We’ll provide you with the best of class materials, such as a high-quality laptop, monitor, work phone and the necessary furniture.
  • Everything to focus on your health: from free bootcamp to yoga lessons, mindfulness sessions, mental health services, serious discounts on sport memberships, healthy lunches at the office, and above all: a safe work environment.
  • Great fringe benefits; use of OV-bikes, an NS Business Card and many other goodies.
  • You can discover even more employee benefits here.
  • A reputation for doing good. DEPT® has been named a Great Place To Work in 2023 and has been a Certified B Corp® since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
  • Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT® you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together!
  • The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training, development and certifications.
  • Global annual DEPT® Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities.
