REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of proven experience in IT project management
- Fluent (native-level) German and advanced English communication skills
- Solid experience with Fixed-Price Projects (FPP)
- Hands-on experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Strong background in managing mid-size to large-scale projects
- Practical knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) model
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and Waterfall project management
- Familiarity with the PMBOK Guide and project management best practices
- Deep understanding of IT systems and software development life cycles
- Strong understanding of project financials: profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and resource utilization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) would be a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel regularly to Göttingen, Germany

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
- Effectively analyze and report on project status
- Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
- Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
- Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
- Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
- Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
- Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
