Performance:

  • Creates and Establishes the Project Delivery Strategy for the client and project.
  • Accountable and personally responsible for the technical drawings and specifications for a project.  
  • Leads the production team and provides daily direction through effective communication and coordination.
  • Responsible for the Consultant Coordination of the project.
  • Work closely with QA/QC leaders to develop, refine, and enforce top-tier quality control systems, ensuring Array’s projects consistently exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Leads and facilitates the client engagement during the documentation process to ensure effective decision making of technical elements. 
  • Communicates and mentors staff through the project work aligned with firm standards and principles.
  • Coordinates with and complies with and meets all (QAQC) Quality Assurance and Control measures implemented at Array. 
  • Responsible for Regulator and Code Research and Life Safety requirements of a project. 
  • Collaborates effectively with other disciplinary team leaders such as Planners and Interior Designers. 

Characteristics:

  • Solid understanding and passion for healthcare design.  
  • Eagerness to contribute to the development of office standards specific to the technical processes and project delivery methodologies.
  • Willingness to participate in the firms thought leadership initiatives such as white papers and blogs.
  • Participation in groups and organizations outside of the office, such as AMFP and the AIA. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture required.
  • Extensive Design Experience:  At least 10 years of experience in the design field, with a specific focus on healthcare spaces, demonstrating industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Strong Revit Skills are a must. 
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Technical and Contractual Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical design aspects and contractual nuances, ensuring high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Demonstrated ability to understand, empathize, and effectively interact with diverse team members and clients, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Drive and Collaborative Spirit: A high level of motivation and a collaborative approach, eager to contribute to the growth and mentorship of a dynamic studio and its engaged team members.

Travel may be required.

Overtime may be required

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture
  • At least 10 years of design experience focused on healthcare spaces
  • Strong Revit skills
