In this position, you will lead a geographically dispersed team supporting a proprietary space program. You will serve as the company's primary interface with the customer program team and will be principally responsible for driving successful contract execution.
This role may require leadership in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
This position may involve collaboration across multiple functions, programs, and locations.

PositionResponsibilities
- Manage employees and mid-level managers performing program execution activities.
- Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures.
- Guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Acquire and allocate resources to support organizational activities.
- Provide technical management oversight of suppliers and external partners.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Develop, coach, motivate, and evaluate employees and mid-level managers.
- Support execution of program objectives through integrated planning and cross-functional coordination.
- Apply risk, opportunity, and issue management practices to support program execution.
- Contribute to schedule, performance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Support earned value and project management activities, as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, program management, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience leading or managing large or complex teams of managers and or non-management employees
- 10+ years of combined space operations experience at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Experience with Program Management, project management and/or Business Operations
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying organizational plans and strategies
- 5+ years of experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders and teammates
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a large, complex, matrixed organization
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Experience with schedule management tools and practices
- Experience with organizational development and change leadership
- Experience applying systems thinking to enterprise or program-level challenges
- Demonstrated experience in supplier management and technical oversight
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced education in a related discipline
