Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a Senior Program Manager with experience as a lead or deputy program manager to join our exciting team at Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) and Engineering Prototyping and Experimentation Mission Directorate.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in leading classified programs at the SCI level. The person in this role will provide scientific and engineering technical assessment of prototypes and experimentation. The candidate will also provide quantitative/qualitative analysis of technologies as well as serving as Subject Matter Expertise in technical areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) & Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Space and Stratosphere, Information Operations, Hypersonics, and/or Demonstration and Experimentation. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and organizational skills. The candidate should have knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) as well as knowledge of the DoD Defense Acquisition System.

The anticipated work location is in Falls Church, VA on site. Travel: less than 10%.

Required Experience

Master’s degree in engineering, scientific and or technical discipline
15 years of program management experience
Ability to provide technical recommendation and reports on the rapid acquisition deployment of prototypes.
Capability to utilize proven scientific analytical methods and high-fidelity modeling to confirm key performance parameters design specifications of prototypes.
Knowledge of project management best practices
Active Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility and Special Access Program (SAP)

Desired Experience

Experience as a program manager
Technical background in one (or more) of the following:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning
- Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) & Electromagnetic Warfare (EW)
- Space and Stratosphere
- Information Operations
- Hypersonics
- Demonstration and Experimentation
Military or OSD background
