The Program Manager must possess project management skills in an IT environment
and a highly specialized blend of deep technical PKI knowledge, rigorous regulatory and
compliance expertise, and proven IT modernization leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Performs day-to-day management of overall project/contract support operations, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned project.
- Provides a project schedule to identify when each task will be completed
- Communicates clearly expectations to team members and stakeholders
- This role demands more than standard IT project coordination; the PM must actively navigate strict military security boundaries, hardware cryptographic standards, and the transition to Post-Quantum Computing.
- The PM must understand the dependencies between certificate issuance, Active Directory/Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) replication, and endpoint enrollment.
- The PM must bridge the gap between policy requirements and technical implementation and be able to translate compliance, policy, and security framework guidelines into actionable project tasks.
Skills Required
- Active SECRET security clearance
- BS in IT Engineering
- PMP certification
- 8+ years project management experience including IT/PKI expertise
- Deep technical PKI knowledge
- Regulatory and compliance expertise related to security frameworks
- IT modernization leadership, including transition planning for post-quantum computing
- Understanding of certificate issuance, AD/LDAP replication, and endpoint enrollment dependencies
- Strong IT project management skills in an enterprise/military security environment
- Ability to translate compliance and policy into actionable technical project tasks
