What You'll do:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Control Analyst with a strong background in government contracting to join our team. This role will focus on financial forecasting, maintaining compliance with government regulations, and supporting program control processes. The ideal candidate will bring an in-depth understanding of processes and policies typical in government contracting environments, and collaborating with various levels of stakeholders. Lead forecasting and financial planning for multiple government programs, including revenue, cost, and profit projections.

Perform variance analysis to identify trends, provide explanations for deviations from forecasted values, and support decision-making.

Collaborate with program and financial managers to ensure forecasts reflect program requirements and are updated regularly to align with actual performance.

Support program managers by providing financial insights and recommendations for cost management and resource allocation.

Work with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating with internal and external auditors as necessary.

Support monthly financial activities to include adjustments, corrections, unbilled receivable reconciliation, and cost accruals.

Perform reviews of Purchase Requests and other project related requests via ticketing workflow system.

Review project setup and funding modifications, ensuring alignment with contract terms and conditions.

Generate and present detailed financial reports, including program reviews, to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Prepare reports for government customers as required by contract terms, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Finance, Accounting degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in program control, financial analysis, or similar role in a government contracting environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, CAS).
- Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software (Excel, ERP systems, and cost management tools).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in Costpoint is strongly preferred.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$63,412.00 - $122,485.00
