Take ownership for industry leading projects

As a Senior Production Technologist, you’ll provide input to multi-disciplinary projects, from frontier exploration through discovery appraisal to field development and production. This role will do hands-on work of production related analysis for integrated subsurface studies from wellbore-scale into field-scale, technical and coaching presentations, generate reports, and some business development involvement. Performs discipline-specific interpretation and analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best In Class solutions for the client.

As a Senior Production Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist production technology consultancy services to the client and the product line teams in the areas of Completions, Production Optimisation, Fracking, Well testing, artificial lift systems, sand control, and other production apparent technologies.
  • Advising clients on petroleum engineering/production technology matters and providing solutions with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborating with reservoir engineers, drilling, and completions teams from the client side to ensure an integrated field solution.
  • Being highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, be action oriented, ethical in value, and have a strong client focus.
  • Showing good project management skills. Being able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams, working with an extensive client base.
  • Conducting Technical presentations and generating reports. Represents the company in outside technical forums, Publishes technical reports and papers for internal and external use

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Have proficiency in nodal analysis and artificial lift systems
  • Have effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to mentor others.
  • Familiar with Production technology software including PETEX Suite, Netool™, OLGA™, WellCat™, ScaleChem™, Kappa™ etc
  • Have experience in end-to-end contract and commercial management for products, services, and projects.
  • Be able to travel at short notice to potentially global locations (around 30% of the time).
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills.
