The ISC Supervisor, Logistics is responsible for leading logistics operations within Honeywell Aerospace's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization. This position oversees the movement, storage, and distribution of materials while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, trade, and customer requirements. The supervisor drives operational excellence through process improvements, employee development, inventory accuracy, and execution of logistics strategies that support manufacturing and customer delivery commitments.

ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
  • Lead daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to production and customers in accordance with established service levels and schedules.
  • Monitor logistics performance and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics.
  • Manage staffing levels, work assignments, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
  • Support production and supply chain planning activities to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Supervise, coach, and develop logistics personnel.
  • Conduct performance discussions, training, and development planning.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote Honeywell values and behaviors while maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.
Logistics & Inventory Management
  • Manage warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation activities, including carrier management and freight optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and company logistics policies.
  • Resolve material shortages, transportation issues, and shipment delays.
  • Partner with procurement, planning, manufacturing, and customer service teams to improve supply chain performance.
Continuous Improvement
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives.
  • Analyze logistics data and KPI trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Reduce transportation costs, inventory carrying costs, and process inefficiencies.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to logistics performance issues.
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, environmental requirements, and regulatory policies.
  • Maintain adherence to OSHA, hazardous materials, and safety procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits and corrective action activities.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, material planning, transportation, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
