Description


Reporting to the Director of Creative & Production, the Senior Production Manager oversees all operations and resources for the creative development and video production of advertising and promotional campaigns aligned with the strategic objectives of the Marketing & Communications division.


Key Tasks:

  • Manage a team of approximately 30 staff members across creative direction, design, project co-ordination and digital content creation.
  • Collaborate closely with creative leads across the Audio, Entertainment and News units, as well as the Design Studio manager.
  • Ensure seamless execution and consistency across all stages of project development.
  • Manage performance and professional development of staff under your supervision.
  • Oversee project assignments and resource allocation in collaboration with key team members.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines. 

Your profile:

  • In-depth knowledge of radio, TV and digital advertising creative and production workflows (ideally in promo production).
  • Technical familiarity with the Radio-Canada post-production environment a strong asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Five (5) to (7) seven years’ experience managing or supervising creative or advertising teams.
  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in advertising and communications, including both creative direction and video production.

Other Requirements:

  • Understanding of key production roles, including copywriters, directors, editors, sound mixers, designers and social media content creators.
  • Familiarity with all production and post-production phases.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership with creative teams.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Jira.
