Supply Chain - Sustaining MOL
Job Description
  • Product & Process Support: Provide Maintenance On-Line (MOL) product and process support to EMS and suppliers for current shipping products, such as Tetra and A&E.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams—including R&D PMO, Procurement, and Supply Planning—to drive and ensure products continuity of supply (COS).

  • Project Support: Lead, manage, and drive end-to-end (E2E) technical solutions from conception to launch under MOL/Refresh/COS/Major PCN Redesign. That also includes corporate initiatives or crisis mitigation activities.

  • Continuous Improvement: Sustain and enhance operations by driving continuous improvement in Cost (EDCR, Cycle Time/OBC, Automation, and Transformation), Quality (Yield), and Delivery (revenues and capacity).

  • Problem Solving & Optimization: Apply advanced problem-solving skills alongside Six Sigma analytical and statistical tools to drive optimization.

  • Manufacturing Support: Assist EMS partners in enhancing process fixture and jig designs.

  • Technical Hands-on Operations: Utilize hands-on product and process expertise in LMR and A&E fields. This includes basic troubleshooting, product knowledge applications, and the fundamental usage of test equipment .

  • Change Management: Manage and govern Agile PLM Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO) from MSI to EMS, ensuring flawless deployment of engineering changes across the EMS supply chain.

Basic Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in Supply Chain Manufacturing or Testing or R&D.

  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Technical hands-on skills and knowledge of LMR products/processes (Eg, RF or 2-way device) are highly advantageous.

  • Tools & Certifications:

- Knowledge or usage of AI tools is an added advantage.

- Proficiency in statistical software/tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Numiqo) or a Six

Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly advantageous.

  • Soft Skills & Leadership:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take charge, drive initiatives, and work

effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Proven ability to collaborate and build partnerships across multi-functional departments, both internally within MSI and externally with EMS providers/suppliers.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel or work onsite at EMS plants.
