As the Senior Product Security Analyst for the MQ-28 program, you will occupy a high-visibility role, bridging the gap between complex autonomous engineering and sovereign regulatory requirements. You will support execution of the MQ-28 governance risk and compliance program, navigating the complex landscape of Commonwealth stakeholders and requirements. This role demands superb technical and thought leadership as well as the ability influence both our internal engineering teams and our most critical external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Governance: Support the end-to-end GRC lifecycle for the entire MQ-28 program, ensuring security is a primary enabler of mission success.
- Authorisation Leadership: Liaise with major stakeholders, including our Commonwealth Customer and Authorisation Authorities (DCIAB, ISSEC/462SQN), to secure cyber authorization to operate for all MQ-28 classified systems.
- Program-Wide Oversight: Support the development and execution of the Certification and Authorisation Plan, ensuring technical designs meet stringent ISM and NIST-based cyber frameworks.
- Risk Orchestration: Translate complex technical risks into actionable governance strategies that protect the program's timeline and its mission objectives.
What You Bring
- The Expertise: Experience in Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), ideally within a high-complexity defence or aerospace context.
- The Influence: Proven ability to provide technical leadership and manage high-level stakeholder relationships with government and regulatory bodies.
- The Knowledge: A deep understanding of the ISM, NIST, and the complexities of certifying autonomous or highly integrated systems.
The Environment
- Location: Brisbane - High-impact, stakeholder-facing role, 4 days/week in-office to facilitate critical coordination with engineering stakeholders, program leadership and the Customer.
