Location: We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe. For this role, we prefer candidates who are either based in Dubai or working remotely within +/- 4 hours GST time.

The Role

As a Senior Product Owner at 1inch Labs, you’ll be at the forefront of decentralised finance innovation, driving product strategy and execution across our core protocols and user-facing platforms. You’ll lead agile teams in delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that push the boundaries of Web3.

This role demands a strategic mindset, deep DeFi fluency, and the ability to translate complex technical and market dynamics into actionable product outcomes. Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to align the product backlog with company goals and translate high-level vision into actionable deliverables.
Act as the key bridge between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a common understanding of user stories, business context, and product goals.
Lead and facilitate agile rituals, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
Ensure continuous alignment across all teams to resolve dependencies and optimise the delivery of features.
Strategically balance feature development with critical security, scalability, and compliance considerations.
Monitor and measure product success using key performance indicators (KPIs), customer feedback, and DeFi ecosystem analytics to drive a data-driven approach to product development.
Contribute to broader program rituals like exploration workshops and showcase events.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in agile environments.
Deep knowledge of DeFi, blockchain protocols, and smart contract technology.
Proven track record of delivering high-impact, user-driven products in a fast-paced startup environment.

Skills

Excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale, etc.).
Familiarity with Web3 development tools (e.g., Solidity, EVM-based chains, smart contract auditing, dApp UX/UI considerations) is a plus.
Familiarity with tools (JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.).
