THE SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER POSITION
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for outbound marketing activities, product messaging, and product positioning. This individual will serve as a Product SME and will work collaboratively to drive marketing efforts in support of Sunnova’s products and services solar portfolio. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial. THE SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
•Collaborate with the product team to develop product positioning and messaging; work cross-functionally to coordinate and support marketing efforts for solar service plans, hardware products, and market expansions.
•Develop collateral to be used for a variety of customer and dealer audiences and target segments
•Work closely with the marketing and brand management teams in the development and implementation of product content and collateral materials
•Establish and maintain product feedback channels with the sales team
•Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain robust customer journeys through product end-of-life and renewal
•Establish and measure Key Performance Indicators to assess effectiveness of the marketing programs that support the solar portfolio
•Create internal product education materials to align adjacent stakeholders
•Manage documents and content for all solar marketing materials
•Support team, department, and organizational goals and objectives
•Mentor and develop a team of worldclass Product Marketing Managers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s Degree
•5 - 10+ years’ related experience
•5+ years in product marketing
•3 - 5 years’ manager experience with multiple reports
•1 - 3+ years’ senior manager experience with multiple reports
•Experience working in a publicly traded company
•Experience working with cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
•Proven history of building teams in complex and ambiguous environments
•Proven history of creating effective marketing programs
•Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
•Ability to adapt and react to rapidly changing conditions and business requirements
•Ability to lead a team with a player-coach mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Previous experience in energy
•Bilingual – English and Spanish.
